Location: Hybrid – Co. Clare, Ireland
Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 DOE
Type: Full-Time | Permanent | 3 Days Onsite

An established Irish SaaS company is seeking a senior-level .NET developer to take on a leadership role in its core engineering team. This position offers a direct succession path to CTO, as the current technical founder plans to step away from hands-on responsibilities.

The company has developed a successful eCommerce SaaS platform used by well-known Irish retailers. The product is scalable, multi-tenant, and serves high volumes of traffic. With growth on the horizon and AI-led product innovation in the pipeline, the business is looking for a strong technical leader to drive this next phase.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the product’s technical direction and architecture

• Lead and mentor a small, expert development team

• Drive code quality, performance, and maintainability across the platform

• Work closely with product and business stakeholders to align tech strategy with growth plans

• Oversee deployment, scalability, and integration efforts with ERP/ePOS systems

• Contribute directly to ongoing feature development in a hands-on capacity

• Guide the technical transition into AI-enhanced product features

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience with C#.NET and MS SQL Server in web-based applications

• Strong understanding of scalable software architecture and system design

• Experience working in a senior, lead, or managerial developer role

• Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms

• Ability to work onsite in Co. Clare 3 days a week (hybrid model)

• Must have Irish residency or Stamp 4 visa
